Event Candles

Cake Art & Design have undoubtedly the biggest and best range of personalised candles to suit all occasions. Candles are most commonly used at Christenings, Weddings and memorials; Our candles come in different sizes and designs, and are only limited by your imagination.

There are two different types of event candles at Cake Art & Design:

1. Personalised Candles; where the information is printed directly on to the actual candle and becomes permanently part of the candle. These candles take approximately 2weeks to be made.
2. Designer candles, where the information is printed onto a metallic paper and then stuck onto the actual candle and decorated with various accessories, such as, stars, beads, wings, ribbon, studs etc. This option is ideal if you have left things to the last minute as we only require 2-3 days notice.

Our personalized Christening candles can be pre-ordered (at least 2 weeks in advance), or a plain candle may be purchased on the day as they are not personalized. The most popular design for Christening candles include a photograph of your little treasure – so be organised and bring in your photograph, or email it to us at info@cakeart.com.au.

Wedding candles are currently very popular at Church ceremonies. The idea behind the Wedding candle family set is that both families are united as one, through the lighting of the couples candle. The Wedding candle family set is a set of three candles; 1 candle for each of the families and 1 candle for the couple, alternatively, some couples only wish to purchase the one wedding candle as a memoir.

When designing your event candle you need to decide on the following items:

• size of the candle;
• details of the event which you would like recorded on the candle;
• colour and style of the writing to be used on the candle;
• picture or photograph to be placed onto the candle;
• and also the ribbon to be tied around the bottom of the candle.

Stuck for a bomboniere idea? We can offer a suggestion! Why not give your guests/godparents a personalized candle! They make a great gift and are a lasting memoir of your special occasion. Bomboniere candles are available at Cake Art & Design, although, they must be pre-ordered at least two weeks in advance.
